2.2 Google Account Data

When you connect your Google account, we access:

• Google Calendar: We read and write calendar events to sync your Clearway meetings with your Google Calendar
• Basic Profile: Your name and email address from your Google account

Important: We only access the specific Google services you authorize and only for the purposes described in this policy.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

• Usage data (features used, pages visited)
• Device information (browser type, operating system)
• Log data (IP address, access times)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain our church management services
• Sync your meetings with Google Calendar (only when you enable this feature)
• Send you important updates about your account
• Improve our services and develop new features
• Ensure platform security and prevent fraud

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 Within Your Organization

Information you create is shared with other authorized users in your church organization based on their role permissions (Owner, Admin, or Member).

4.2 Third-Party Services

We share data with:

• Supabase: Our database and authentication provider
• Google: Only when you explicitly connect your Google account
• OpenAI: For AI-generated meeting summaries (content is not retained by OpenAI)

4.3 We Never

• Sell your personal information or Google user data to third parties
• Share your data for advertising purposes
• Use your Google data for any purpose other than providing the features you've authorized

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

• Encryption in transit and at rest
• Regular security audits and updates
• Access controls and authentication
• Secure OAuth 2.0 for Google integration

6. Data Retention and Deletion

6.1 Retention Period

• Active account data: Retained while your account is active
• Google tokens: Refreshed as needed, deleted when you disconnect
• Deleted content: Soft-deleted items retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted

6.2 Deletion Rights

You can:

• Delete your account at any time through settings
• Disconnect Google integration, which immediately revokes our access
• Request complete data deletion by contacting support@clearway.co

8. Google User Data Policy

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Limited Use Disclosure: Clearway CORE's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing and improving user-facing features that are prominent in the user interface. We do not use this data for any other purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

Clearway CORE is intended for use by church staff and leaders who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Effective Date.”
